In recent news...

We went and visited our friends this weekend. They just had a baby girl last week, and I must say she is PRECIOUS!! I got to hold and cuddle her for a couple of hours and just breath in her delicious new baby scent! It was wonderful! John would SO love to have another baby, but I just think that ship has sailed. Sorry Honey. Over the years I got old and tired. It was nice to be in the presence of a brand new baby though. How easy you forget, but then how easy it all comes back :)

Yesterday I made these delicious Banana Crumb Muffins. They are SO good!

Sweet Pea Jacob before school today. They were having Spring Pictures taken. He was very excited!! He has been singing the Pledge of Allegiance ever since we got home. It is so sweet and just warms my heart!!

I got to get out and see Valentine's Day with a couple of girlfriends on Sunday night and it was really good! If you are looking for a good movie I would definitely recommend it! I feel like we or maybe more I have been really disappointed in movies lately. John and I watched Couples Retreat a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't anywhere near as funny as I thought it would be. John brought home District 9 one weekend and that was just weird and boring as hell. He also brought home The Hurt Locker and I fell asleep. If anyone has some suggestions I would LOVE to hear them!! I plan on picking up 2012 and Where the Wild Things Are this weekend. Hopefully they will be good. Even though I heard they completely changed where the wild things are from the book. Maybe I better not ruin the book. It's one of the boys favorites!
