It's been too long....

I know it's been a long time. Man it seems as if a lot has happened over the last month too. I have to say though, a BIG part of me not blogging was due to the fact that my page elements did not work. It was DRIVING ME NUTS. So I guess I sort of said F it.

Johnny lost his first tooth. Such a bitter sweet moment too. I really thought I was going to cry. Just wait....it will happen to your kids too...you'll see!! He is just loving school....asks me ALL the time when first grade starts :( I think it is going to be a HUGE adjustment having him gone all day. He is doing really well in school. Good grades. Good behavior. Just loves his friends. His diabetes is going well also. We recently switched his insulin to something a little less strict. He has taken to it extremely well!! I couldn't ask for much more. He is such a little man!!

Jacob is a HUGE handful. The kid just doesn't stop. Doesn't want to take naps. Doesn't want to sit still. Wants to know what EVERYTHING is. Doesn't always like the answer. Lets just say I am a little relieved every Tuesday and Tuesday when I drop him at school. I swear the kid is giving me a run for my money!! He is such a sweet little thing though. You just can't help but smile when he is around!!

My Grandmother passed away a couple of weeks ago. March doesn't seem to be a good month for the family. It was extremely sad watching my Dad, Grandfather, three Uncles and five Aunts say their goodbye's. I really wish I wasn't at this point in life where my Grandparents are at the age they are. I sure wish I could have them around forever.

John and I are doing good. We are both still working out five to six days a week. For the most part I enjoy it....There are days when I struggle though. I guess that is to be expected!! No one said it would be easy. We also found a Church that we are very happy with!! The kids love it as well. Something we all look foreword to each week!

Summer cannot get here soon enough. Myrtle is seriously calling my name :).....I can feel the sand between my toes!!

Alright...that's it for now. My fingers are tired!!...Oh, check out the picture of my Laundry closet. John redid the shelf that was there and then build me some more and painted!!! I LOVE it!!
