A Trip to the Air & Space Museum!!

Yesterday the boys and I went and picked my parents up and then headed to the "New' Air and Space Museum in Chantilly. It was AWESOME!! I think it is much better/nicer than the one in DC. The building itself is amazing!!

A glimpse of the building

A really cool water feature out front....The boys had a blast playing on/around this!!

My Dad, Johnny & Jacob getting seated inside of a flight simulator

The flight simulator they were in. Mom my and I joked about who must be driving that thing.....it was ALL over the place. Come to find out afterward....It was JACOB!!!

Just a few of the planes on display!

I LOVE this pic of My Dad and Johnny holding hands!! Too cute!

We headed to Fuddruckers afterward for some DELICIOUS burgers!!! YUM!!

If you haven't been to the new(er) Air and Space Museum I would definitely check it out.....especially if you have boys. They really seem to get a kick out of such things!!!

I went there on a field trip this spring, and it is a fantastic museum! It's great to see that your little guys enjoyed it so much. I wasn't sure how Michael would handle it, so I haven't made an attempt. Since they had so much fun, we'll have to give it a try this fall. ; )

Did you do one of the IMAX movies?

Loved the pictures, too...

THAT is a great place!!! I went with Taylor on a field trip when he was in the the 5th grade -- it was awesome! I know you all had a great time! I also love seeing Tom holding hands with Johnny! Your looking good, Tom!!! I know your Dad had as wonderful time as the boys!

Looks like you guys had a great time. We haven't been to the new AASM yet. I also love the pic of your dad and Johnny holding hands, too cute.

It's almost time for Johnny's first day right? You must be so proud but also nervous.

Have a great week and hope to see ya soon.

Take Care,
