Don't you think ALL of the rain we've gotten over the lat month is a little ridiculous???.....because you know what, I sure as heck do!! I would be perfectly happy if we went the entire month of June without seeing one drop!! This is becoming truly depressing.
Anyways.....we had a really nice weekend! It will be the last relaxing one we have for about a month. We headed over to a friend's house for dinner on Friday night. We haven't seen them for months, which is WAY too long:( They had a new baby (Kayden) in January. He is SO sweet! We haven't seen him since he was a week old, so it was so great to get our baby fix!! He has the best disposition and a light up his whole face kinda smile......which I couldn't seem to capture on camera:( It's so relaxing to hold and play with someone else's baby. As soon as he got hungry I was able to just hand him back!!! Seeing them at that age totally makes me want to have another one though!! They are just so sweet!! :) The boys were so good that it was hard to leave. I was very proud of both of them...especially Jacob!!
John and I watched Stephen King's The Mist on Saturday night. I am a HUGE Stephen King fan!!! I LOVE the scary stuff...most of the time anyways!! Unfortunately I DID NOT like this one. I never got a chance to read this one, so I was intent on watching the movie. It was OK for most of the movie but the ending KILLED it for me. The ending SUCKED. If you haven't seen it.....Don't waste your money.
Johnny's last day of school is on Thursday. They have their big Spring Program. We are really excited and sad all at the same time. One chapter is ending and another is about to begin!! I'm sure Kindergarten is going to be LOTS of fun!! :) He brought home the best thing ever today.....a memory book with pictures all done with his hand prints!! I LOVE it......it totally made me cry. Man an I a sap or what??! It's just so hard to believe that Johnny is about to be 5 and start Grade School. It's hard for me to not get emotional! :(
**I have been meaning to mention this for awhile, Hasn't LOST been AWESOME this season??!! I have barely been able to contain myself waiting for each new episode. I think this has been by FAR the BEST season!!! I can't wait to the season finale!!

It is totally ok to be a sap and get emotional - it just means that you understand and appreciate each moment...if you weren't absorbing it - it wouldn't bother you! It's good stuff!
LOST has been incredible! I agree 100% - it has been great - each episode & I have a feeling that the finale will be awesome!

I'm definitely ready for some summer-like weather, that's for sure! Next week's weather report is looking pretty good! Yay! Finally!!
The pictures are so sweet, especially the one of John holding the baby.
And, Lost! WOW! It has been awesome this season. So many twists and turns throughout! I love that show!
