Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.....

It's a Beautiful Day. Perfect temperature. Perfect breeze. Perfectly blue sky.

Johnny caught the stomach virus. Worse than Jacob too :( It started around midnight. It REALLY sucks when your kids get sick in the middle of the night. He has had really bad stomach craps, which Jacob never had. Plus....since Johnny has diabetes he HAS to have carbs and insulin. Let me just say that trying to maintain good blood sugar levels when you can't keep anything down is pretty hard. He seemed a little better around noon today, but is fastly (I see that fastly isn't really a word, but I like it) fading. He is just pitiful. I would share a picture, but BLOGGER won't let me. Just like it wouldn't let me with Jacob. I think it has it's own ideas about what pictures I should be sharing and obviously sick kids are not among them.

We had great plans for this weekend. Johnny was to have t-ball pics this am followed by a game. *We actually contemplated going to the pictures and them coming right home. I'm sure glad we didn't. We all would have been really embarrassed.* We were going to go on a picnic and hiking in Front Royal. We were even tossing around the idea of the drive-in. Oh well. It's still BEAUTIFUL out. John is AMAZINGLY off. Our yard looks GREAT. ALL of the windows are open. There is a TON of chicken breasts getting SO SO happy in a Citrus Lime Marinade in the frig. Which will be SO SO yummy cooked to perfection on the grill, by my AMAZING grill meister hubby! I got to sneak away for girls night last night too!! All in All the weekend could have been a lot worse.
