My Grandfather (on my Dad's side) passed away a little over a week ago. It has been extremely sad. My Grandmother passed away in March. So my Dad has lost both of his parents within 6 months of each other. My heart has been aching not only for my Dad but for my five Aunts and Three Uncles. I can only imagine their pain. The one good thing about a death though is that the family is forced to get together......which is no small feat with a family that large. The Great Grandchildren definitely brought a special light to the atmosphere....thank goodness for them!!!
My Grandfather was a Captain in the Marines so he got a 21 Gun Salute at his funeral. My sister Chrysse, my brother Andrew and Myself.....and my Mom, Dad, Chrysse, Andrew and myself!
Jacob started his second year of Pre-School this morning. He was beyond excited!! It just hasn't been fair that Johnny started last week and not him. Plus he has the same teacher that Johnny had a couple of years ago. It's nice to have someone familiar!
Isn't he such a cutie pie!! I just want to squeeze him all the time!!.....unfortunaly though he does NOT feel the same way :(
On Tuesday me and a couple of my neighbors/friends headed to the Melting POt for ladies night!!! It was fantastic!! I haven't been in years. It was nice to get out and enjoy good company and food! Plus our waiter looked like Justin Timberlake.....how awesome is that!! LOL!
While away for ladies night johnny managed to have a asthma attack while on a hike in the woods. One of our neighbors had to go and pick them all up......and Jacob got stabbed in the neck with a walking stick. His neck was all scratched and bloody when I got home. Oh and Johnny was still awake too......it was almost 11pm. It might be awhile before I have another ladies night!!

My nephew Jadon was Baptized last weekend. Poor little thing was exausted and slept through most of it!!! I really wish my children were sleeping......they were a wiggly mess.
Johnny started flag footaball last week. I wouldn't say that he loves it, but he seems more enthused this week than he did last. Thank goodness for that. It's no fun taking your child to things they don't like. Jacob just LOVES going because he gets to play on the playground!!
