Johnny and Jacob feeding the goats at the Reston Zoo. My Mom took us there last week and the boys had a blast. Johnny was super excited about seeing Kangaroos and Jacob was.....well Jacob!
Last week John's parents had a surprise Birthday party for his Grandma Mary. It turned out really well! The boys had a blast running around with their cousins!
We walked over to the new school playground the other week. It's SO nice having something SO close now!! I'm sure we will be frequent visitors there!
Here are the boys at a local water park, Jay Dee's. There was more for Johnny there than Jacob, but definitely a fun place for kids!

School starts in two and a half weeks. Very bittersweet. Johnny is going to be gone all day. It seems very strange. I know that he is going to love it though! He has already started asking when he starts back! Jacob too!
We have gotten lots done this summer. Johnny goes this week to have three cavities filled. These are his first so we'll see how it goes. Johnny's diabetes is going well......if you can even call it that. John and I are much more comfortable with the daily to do's required with the disease. I might even be a diabetic pro! Plus Johnny just make it easy for us.......our brave little man!

O.K. Granddaddy is wipp[ng his tears. The music always seems to get me. My heart is so full when i see the boys so happy. Kelly i can not believe Johnny will be in first grade.
