Well school's out and I feel like we are busier than before. What is up with that?? I thought things were supposed to slow down over summer!! I'll stop complaining......it's a good busy!!
Jacob decided last week that it would be fun to give the dog and himself a haircut. I am assuming that the hair that was constantly getting in his eyes had bothered him one too many times. I'm sure he started with the dog and thought well Gee, that was easy! Let me see what I can do about my nagging hair problems. In the end all is well!! No harm done!! For those of you wondering where he got the scissors from and where I was.......I was on the phone (very important business!) and the kids scissors were in the kids craft box on their craft table. To be honest it never crossed my mind that he/they would cut anything besides paper. Crazy Me....WTH was I thinking?!?!

See Mom.....I can see!!!!
John started swim lessons this week. I have really dropped the ball on that one. This is his first time ever having them. He SO loves it though!! He thinks his swim instructors are the coolest guys EVER!! It's hysterical! I plan on signing him up for a couple more sessions this summer. I didn't sign Jacob up because the form stated that a parent had to get in the water with the 3 year olds. Low and behold that is not the case. I kind of irritated about it too. It would have been nice to have them both in a class this week. Oh Well.....I guess there is no point in stewing about it!!

John also started T-Ball this week!! I have high hopes that he will love it...only time will tell though!! The only sucky thing is Winchester City does not provide bats or helmets. Plus we got a call from the coach last night saying we need to bring money to his next practice for his trophy and t-shirt. The t-shirt is supposed to be included in the price I already paid. SERIOUSLY...what are we paying for?? I am thinking we will sign up for the county league next year. It's all about the kids having fun though......so I will try and remind myself of that every time I have to fork over more money!!
We leave for the beach in two weeks!!! WOO HOO!! I am beyond excited!!! I have even started packing!!

I love Jacob's picture after the haircut!! Too cute!!
I keep the kid's scissors in our craft box too. I really never thought about it either. Glad Johnny liked swim and T-ball. We're going to do county next year too.
I love Jacob's hair and I don't think you can really tell, except like you said he can see now. LOL! I am gonna have to look into swim too now. I am glad to hear Johnny liked it. Hopefully T -ball will turn out better than it has.
I just erased half of what I wrote some how, uhh. Anyways I think I am gonna have to look into county to for next year, seems like you get more for your money.
Hope you all are having a good weekend. Tell John we said Happy Father's Day.
