Johnny had a great Birthday!! I still cannot believe that my little boy is 6. He seems so grown up all of the sudden too. Things are much more serious than they were a year ago! Not only did he turn 6 but he lost another tooth last week too. Just another thing to add to the list of things that seem to be making him age WAY too fast. Just yesterday I got him on the bus and then loaded Jacob and the cupcakes for Johnny's Birthday into the car and headed to the school. I found Mrs. H, the assistant teacher...whom I LOVE...and gave her the cupcakes. She asked if Johnny was in with the nurse. "No". I said. "He took the bus". She just busted out laughing at the fact that he had to take the bus even though I was driving to the school. I told her that it's over for me. I am now officially UNCOOL :( It's very sad too. I have already heard..... MOM. STOP. YOU ARE EMBARRASSING ME. Plus, I am NOT allowed to give him a hug or kiss at the bus stop. She did reassure me that he will come back...it might be many years from now, but he will realize how awesome and important Moms and Dads are!!!
On Saturday all of his Grandparents came over to wish him a Happy Birthday. Of coarse my camera died after one picture :( He had a great time though!! He did not want cake this year....he wanted to go out for ice cream. That was just fine with me :)...and all of his Grandparents!!
He got lucky and doesn't have any homework this week!! I think I might be more excited than him!! This meant that he was able to open his presents as soon as his Dad got home. It is all about Ben 10 right now!! I did my best to find the perfect gifts.....especially seeing as how I know nothing about Ben 10...except for the fact that it is a cartoon. He was very excited at all of the things I was able to find!! We then headed to the bowling ally for a couple of games and dinner! We all had a GREAT time!! Johnny even got a spare and a STRIKE on his third game.....my little man bowled a 93!! Pretty impressive!!!
