This weekend John and I had the pleasure of getting away for the weekend. One of our neighbors won a prize for Himself and a guest to go down to the Richmond International Speedway for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Which means they got to drive a Nascar!! Very exciting....if you are a man/woman and or a nascar fan!! I have to be honest though...I know NOTHING about Nascar. Therefor I had NO idea what this experience would be like. It turned out to be much more exciting than I ever would have thought!! I was pretty cool watching all of the men and women getting ready and then driving in circles at speeds of 100 miles per hour :) I really loved sitting on the hard and cold bleachers for 4 and a half hours!!
No really...we had a very nice time. I think that it just wasn't long enough for the boys though. You know how they are with toys. They wanted to play forever.....which was NOT included in their prize package. Too bad. It might have been fun to sit there for another 4 and a half hours on the cold/hard bleachers!!
Gotta LOVE a man in uniform....too bad those didn't come with the package!!

Sounds like you guys had a pretty good time outside of the cold hard bleachers. Glad you and John were able to get away for a couple of days, that's always good. I am sure even though the boys had a great time they still missed you too. Hope you have a great week.
