Can you see it???

The Black Cloud that seems to be looming over me and my family. For the life of me I can't seem to shake it loose. Please Oh Please GO AWAY black cloud.

As if I (we) haven't had enough going on over the last couple of months.....Uterine Fibroid, Starting Kindergarten, Diabetes........My lovely Grandmother took a nasty spill at my house on Saturday night and broke her left hip and wrist. (she broke her right hip 6 years ago) I would just LOVE to say that I am kidding, but unfortunately I am not. The poor woman had to be removed from our house on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. I'm not sure whether the kids thought it was awesome or were scared out of their minds. I do know they were extremely curious about the EMT's and the stretcher.

My Grandmother has since had surgery, which went well. Now I am just praying for a full and fast recovery. I cannot even begin to tell you how horrifying it is to see your Grandmother fall down, not be able to get up and to see the pain on her face. I think I will pray for the mental image that has been imprinted in my brain to GO AWAY.

The boys are both doing good. Well Johnny is anyways. He is handling his new routine very nicely and he just LOVES school!!! I think he literally counts the minutes until he goes to school every day. It's AWESOME!! He is also loving football. I am SO glad we signed him up. It just one more thing to help take his mind off all of the more unpleasant things he has had to endure lately!!

Jacob on the other hand is a complete and utter TERROR. I CANNOT take my eyes off of him for two seconds. I literally live in fear for what might happen every time I must take my eyes off of him. He really and truly likes to DESTROY things. This HAS to be the height of terrible two's. There's NO way this is just how he is....Right??? Definitely the terrible two's. Otherwise you will soon be seeing me on a stretcher!

Kelly,
I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma. I will also pray that she has a speedy recovery and a full recovery.

I am glad to hear that Johnny's loving school and football. I am sure that these two things are helping tremendously at keeping his mind off of everything else that is going on. As for Jacob I am sorry that you are going through this. But I too am hoping it's just this age. Jenna has been quite the handful lately. Getting into everything, and wants her way or no way. Again hopefully just a phase for our sakes : )

Hope you have a great week.
Take Care,
~Jamie

Hi Sweet Kelly!

I'm sorry for that black cloud and will be praying for your home and family life to return to a more normal and calm state!

I'm also terribly sorry to hear about your Grandma. I am glad to see that she made it through surgery well and hope she recovers quickly and completely. I know this is hard on your Mom too.

I think Jacob and David are two kindred souls. Into everything and thinking of other things to do while they are at it! :)

Love, Aunt Sherri
